About Wild Pilgrim
The Camino de Santiago is a journey that means something different to everyone. Some walk for adventure, others for fitness, and many simply to step away from the everyday and experience the road. No matter the reason, the path is the same—hundreds of kilometers on foot, a new town every night, and plenty of time to think.
Wild Pilgrim exists to share that experience.
This site is a collection of stories, advice, and insights for anyone considering the Camino—whether planning a first walk, returning for another, or just curious about the experience. The goal is simple: to provide practical guidance, highlight lessons learned on the trail, and offer a space for the community of past, present, and future pilgrims.
With over 1,000 kilometers walked on the Camino Francés and beyond, the knowledge here comes from the road itself, shaped by conversations with fellow travelers, tested by long days of walking, and refined by real-world experience.
If the Camino is on your mind, you’ll find something useful here.
